Bought an X500 lawn tractor in 2011, for approximately the cost of a used car. Ran fine for the first year, sent it to be serviced by dealer to start the second. Over $300 for transportation alone, so we decided to maintain at home from then on. The same year, mower loses power, can't climb hills while mowing. Have to replace the entire head, and they claim there was no oil in the machine, so its not covered under warranty (I mow in 1 hour increments give or take, and check the oil EVERY TIME, and there were no leaks or spray marks where the oil would have gone.). $300 more in transport, plus the $800 repair. A few weeks later, the SAME THING happens. Apparently, they didn't replace the rod correctly. Have to pay transportation fee AGAIN, but they waive the repair fee.
Luckily, it keeps running for a couple more years without major problems, just changing the belts more often then you should need to. Have to remove the deck more often than I'd like, which takes 2.5 hours because someone thought it was bright to make the lockpins SPRINGS underneath a mower, so they get clogged with grass and dust within a few hours of mowing. Learn to pressure wash it first so that it goes much easier.
2015, the warranty runs out. more belts, more little problems. Find a small engine mechanic that comes to us, fixes a problem with the blades spinning (washer is upside down, woops).
2016. Current year. Deck belt starts flying off. Put it back on, not damaged. Flies off again. Clean REALLY well, stays on. Next day: Old friend power loss returns! Luckily, its just the ignition coil this time, and travelling mech can fix it. While doing so, he fixes the OTHER coil as well, as it was not attached correctly. Less than $100 pluse parts (no transporation, 1.5 hours work).
Next week, check oil, notice traction drive belt has HUGE hole in it. This isn't something I can fix. This isn't something the travelling mech can fix. Thankfully, find a different shop. Transportation? $20. Each way. $50 repair bill, plus belt cost. AND they threw in a cleaning and checked the oil.
Today: Start to mow. Get one lane done, turn wheel-now one tire is facing straight, the other is....30 degrees to the left. Some strut has sheared off. Less than 650 hours on this machine. Of COURSE the warranty is over. Customer Service is useless, and I'm hung up on twice. Finally get someone, they say that they can't say anything about the quality of the machine until its diagnosed by the dealer. There is NO WAY I'm spending $300 just to have them tell me there's nothing they can do, so its back to the independent shop.
I will now be parking the mower on my lawn, adjacent to a main road with a big ole' sign listing the repairs and costs.

The most disappointing in user's experience was poor quality. Author liked the most finding a different repair shop. If you have a chance, please immediately contact him/ her to briefly discuss his/ her negative experience with the company.
